Focus Redirect Support
Focus Redirect blocks the exact host you choose, redirects that visit to a focus page, and shows a simple comparison of how many times you tried to come back today versus yesterday.
How to block a site
- Open the website you want to block.
- Click the Focus Redirect toolbar button.
- Select Block this site.
How matching works
example.comandwww.example.comare treated as the same blocked site.- Other subdomains remain available unless you block them separately.
Troubleshooting
- If the popup looks stale after an update, reload the extension in Chrome or run the Safari app again from Xcode.
- If a site does not block, confirm the extension still has permission to access websites.
- If your counter looks wrong, retry the flow on a fresh tab and confirm the blocked page shows the correct host name.
Permissions and privacy
Focus Redirect needs site access, tab access, navigation events, redirect rules, and storage in order to block sites and show your local attempt counts. Read the full privacy policy here: Focus Redirect Privacy Policy.
