Focus Redirect Support

Support page for the Chrome and Safari releases of Focus Redirect.

Focus Redirect blocks the exact host you choose, redirects that visit to a focus page, and shows a simple comparison of how many times you tried to come back today versus yesterday.

How to block a site

1. Open the website you want to block.
2. Click the Focus Redirect toolbar button.
3. Select Block this site.

How matching works

• example.com and www.example.com are treated as the same blocked site.
• Other subdomains remain available unless you block them separately.

Troubleshooting

• If the popup looks stale after an update, reload the extension in Chrome or run the Safari app again from Xcode.
• If a site does not block, confirm the extension still has permission to access websites.
• If your counter looks wrong, retry the flow on a fresh tab and confirm the blocked page shows the correct host name.

Permissions and privacy
